PIEP Academy is a visionary project that brings together, in an integrated way, all the services and activities of PIEP – Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – focused on the ecosystem of education, qualification, and professional training.
The central focus of PIEP Academy is to develop activities that boost human potential, consolidating aspects of re-skilling, up-skilling, and personal development. This Academy energizes and responds to the challenges faced by companies, professionals in the polymer and plastics sector, and young people in educational and training programs, in terms of knowledge and skills essential for business competitiveness.
PIEP Academy, as a comprehensive response to the needs of the sector, is divided into several activities:
- Advanced training through MSc, PhD and Specialization
- Modular and Tailor-made Training Plans for companies.
- DGERT certified training
- Exchanges with other R&D Centers and Universities at an International level
- Learning Factories, Workshops, Webinars, Open Days, Forums and Activities with High Schools and University Students
This initiative is carried out in partnership with the University of Minho.
